Spyware is a type of malicious software or malware that is installed on a computing device without the knowledge of the end user. It intrudes into the device, steals confidential information and Internet usage data and transfers them to advertisers, information firms or external users.

Spyware Malware Attacks

  • A common type of malware is spyware. Spyware collects and extracts information from a person’s or organization’s network and operating systems without the knowledge or consent of the victims.
  • It’s just a piece of malware that attackers deploy to monitor every activity that takes place on a computer or mobile device. The main idea is to collect and send sensitive information such as credit card information, passwords for accounts containing sensitive data, online bank account information, and personally identifiable information for use in malicious events.
