  1. Type “msconfig” in the search box on your desktop taskbar > Click “System Configuration”.
  2. Switch to Download and select Windows 10 (direct download version only) > Click Set Default.
  3. Select “Windows 7” > Click “Uninstall”.
  4. Click “Apply” first and then “OK” to save the changes.
  5. Select “Restart” from the pop-up windows and the computer will boot into Windows 10.
  6. If you have important files saved on the hard drive (partition) where Windows 7 was installed, please back them up first before this setup.
  7. Open File Explorer > Right Click on the hard drive (partition) where Windows 7 was installed > Select Format.
  8. Click “Start” to finish.

  1. Type “System” in the search box on the desktop taskbar, or “Right-click” the “Start Menu” and select “System” > Click “Advanced system settings” in the left pane.
  2. Click the “Settings” button in the “Download and Recovery” section.
  3. Make sure the default operating system is Windows 10 > Uncheck “Time to display list of operating systems” > Click OK to finish.
  4. Restart your computer and then it will boot into Windows 10.
  5. If you have important files saved on the hard drive (partition) where Windows 7 was installed, back them up before this setup.
  6. Open File Explorer > Right Click on the hard drive (partition) where Windows 7 was installed > Select Format.
  7. Click “Start” to finish.
