Uninstall Windows 7 From Dual Boot With Windows 10
Although we have Windows 7 and Windows 10 dual systems installed on our computers, we may find ourselves just using Windows 10 and we are always bothered by the dual boot menu when our computers are turned on.
For now, we can consider uninstalling Windows 7 and keeping Windows 10. And the following two ways can help us implement this easily and quickly.

- Type “msconfig” in the search box on your desktop taskbar > Click “System Configuration”.
- Switch to Download and select Windows 10 (direct download version only) > Click Set Default.
- Select “Windows 7” > Click “Uninstall”.
- Click “Apply” first and then “OK” to save the changes.
- Select “Restart” from the pop-up windows and the computer will boot into Windows 10.
- If you have important files saved on the hard drive (partition) where Windows 7 was installed, please back them up first before this setup.
- Open File Explorer > Right Click on the hard drive (partition) where Windows 7 was installed > Select Format.
- Click “Start” to finish.

- Type “System” in the search box on the desktop taskbar, or “Right-click” the “Start Menu” and select “System” > Click “Advanced system settings” in the left pane.
- Click the “Settings” button in the “Download and Recovery” section.
- Make sure the default operating system is Windows 10 > Uncheck “Time to display list of operating systems” > Click OK to finish.
- Restart your computer and then it will boot into Windows 10.
- If you have important files saved on the hard drive (partition) where Windows 7 was installed, back them up before this setup.
- Open File Explorer > Right Click on the hard drive (partition) where Windows 7 was installed > Select Format.
- Click “Start” to finish.
After removing Windows 7 from Windows 10 dual boot, You will be able to use your computers more conveniently and smoothly.
