Hacking Definition
The term “hacking” refers to any activity that aims to gain unauthorized access to a digital device, whether it be a computer, smartphone, tablet, or even an entire network. And despite the fact that there is a possibility that hacking is not always performed for nefarious reasons, the vast majority of references to hacking and hackers today portray hacking as an illegal activity carried out by cybercriminals who are motivated by financial gain, protest, information gathering, spying, or even just for the “fun” of the challenge.
