What Is Malvertising Attacks ?
Almost every Internet user has encountered the following message or something similar while accessing the Internet; “Your device is running out of memory due to a malware infection. Click here to clean it with an antivirus.”
However, clicking on banner ads usually downloads malware or links to a website that is infected with malware. Malicious ad attacks are similar to adware attacks. Malicious advertising, short for “malicious advertising”, is an attack method in which attackers inject malware-laden advertisements into various advertising websites or networks.
Hackers create ads that look like real ads in order to attract more users and exploit the opportunity to spread malware.
